As was widely anticipated, there will be two Clitheroe by-elections caused by the resignations of Alan and Sue Knox in Primrose and Littlemoor.

Ribble Valley Labour Party are delighted to announce our candidates for each ward – Mandy Pollard for Littlemoor and Michael Graveston for Primrose.

Following a positive County Council campaign, that Michael Graveston ran in himself, we are excited to take to the streets with our candidates who I’m sure you will give your full support to in our campaign to get them elected.

We want to know exactly what the priorities of the people of Littlemoor and Primrose are, so we will be delivering our Labour Listens leaflets. These surveys are designed to ensure that the policies that we stand for are addressing the real issues that the people of Clitheroe and the wider Ribble Valley face.

These two by-elections are tremendous opportunities for the Labour Party in Clitheroe. We can now offer a new alternative and will be fighting hard in these seats beginning this Saturday.
