Ribble Valley Constituency Labour Party’s South Ribble Branch are delighted to introduce Emma Stevens, its candidate to run alongside Councillor Clare Hunter in the upcoming South Ribble Borough Council elections on 4th May 2023.
Emma has already been out tirelessly campaigning across the ward and introducing herself to residents,
“My name is Emma Stevens and I’m 26 years old. I’ve worked in a variety of sectors from Web Design to Broadband. In recent years; I have decided that any chance to make my beloved home of Bamber Bridge better than ever is definitely the direction I wish to head in.
I also have had experience in Befriending, a very rewarding volunteering opportunity I got to do for around two years. Alongside this, I have also volunteered in charity shops.
Whenever I can, I report local issues such as pot holes and dangerous roads as well as ask local residents at the door what they want to change to make their, and their neighbour’s lives better, which is what matters most to me.”
We wish Emma all the best in her endeavours to become Borough Councillor for Bamber Bridge East, and Clare every success in her re-election, and urge members to check their emails for the latest campaign sessions.
